Power combining multiplier using HBV diodes at 260 GHz

A technique for generating additional output power for a 260 GHz multiplier has been demonstrated. Waveguide branch-line couplers were used at both input and out put of the combiner block for power splitting and power combining respectively. The power combiner block showed good performance and is a good first step toward designing additional power combining blocks at higher frequencies to be fabricated using silicon micromachining.
