Analysis of Sampled-Data Systems

In sampled-data systems the signals are handled and stored in digital form. In these systems continuous time signals are sampled periodically at sampling instants and their processing takes place in the discrete time domain. In computer control systems the output of the continuous process is sampled and this signal is forwarded to the process control computer via A/D converter. The main tasks of control are executed by the computer in real time. The actuating signal is forwarded toward the process in each sampling point via D/A converter. Analysis methods of sampled systems are demonstrated through examples.
