On Route Design with Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm for Power Line Communication Network

With the development of communication technology, power Line Communication (PLC) network has gradually gained research interestring. Route optimization technology for PLC network is an important issure in the research on PLC. However, traditional network routing algorithm is inefficient and difficult to find the optimal route dynamically. In this case, we propose an ant colony algorithm is proposed to optimize the PLC route. The ant colony optimization method is used to optimize the route and get the shortest distance and optimal path. On the platform of NS2, the PLC network is modelled and simulated, and the optimal path optimization method is obtained. The experimental results show that the ant colony optimization algorithm can optimize the route and find the shortest path.
