Ultra narrow band adaptive tomographic radar

This paper demonstrates ultra narrowband (UNB) adaptive tomographic radar, and presents detection performance for dynamic and stationary specular targets. Previously, we reported on the utility of radar tomography in detecting cylindrical targets using UNB waveforms. This paper assesses the capability of UNB-tomographic radar to detect specular targets. It is shown that adaptivity is needed for the detection of closely spaced targets, especially those having low signal to noise ratios (SNR).
