Physical properties of safety glass.

A survey has been carried out of the Refractive Index, Specific Gravity and Thickness of 100 samples of safety glass in an attempt to determine the value of safety glass as evidence of a particular vehicle being at the scene of a particular incident. The results suggest that the thickness of safety glass particles is a valuable measurement since the spread of specific gravity and refractive index is much narrower than in non-safety glass.
