(13) ?Epidermolysis bullosa with pigmentation and palmar and plantar keratoses

K.T., male, aged 32 years. Hospital case no. 49 43 34. History. Blisters on the hands and feet developed soon after birth. At about i year the blistering ceased but warty lesions began to develop on the palms and soles with widespread mottled pigmentation over the body. No further change occurred after about the age of 3 years and physical and mental development was normal. There were no abnormalities of teeth, nails, hair or sweating. Family history. His mother and father were normal. He has one sister who is also normal. His only daughter, S.T., is affected. Examination. He has mottled pigmentary changes over the trunk and limbs with keratoses on the palms and soles. Investigations. None performed.
