An intelligent approach for remote handling maintenance sequence planning in radiation environment

In order to improve the level of remote handling ma intenance sequence planning for radiation equipment , a remote handling maintenance sequence planning algorithm ba sed on adaptive mutation particle swarm optimizatio n (AMPSO) was proposed. In view of the discreteness c hara teristic of the sequences planning, on the bas is of the basic particle swarm optimization algorithm, the pa rticle position, velocity and their update operatio n were redefined; the mutation operator of genetic algorit hm was introduced to improve the ability to jump ou t f local optimum. The simulation experimental results show t hat compared with genetic algorithm and basic parti cle swarm algorithm, the proposed algorithm has high converge nce speed and accuracy, can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of sequences planning.
