Distributed Synchronization over RESTful Web API

Achieving synchronizations which are being requested continuously over loosely coupled resources, namely Web sites, is an important feature for wide range of network application. In this paper, we consider a model of transactions that occur among resources provided RESTful Web API. Most recent and potentially efficient resource managements tend to be based on this architectural style so that the classical synchronization algorithms are to be re-designed with both idempotent and non-idempotent URI's. A leader election algorithm is implemented with RESTful Web APIs. Based on the implementations, we majored performances of asynchronous distributed algorithm with experiments.
