H Control of Networked Control Systems with Delay and Packet Disordering via Predictive Method

This paper studies the problem of designing robust Hinfin controllers for networked control systems (NCSs) with both network-induced time delay and packet disordering by predictive method. The compensation of time delay and packet disordering is implemented by a buffer in the actuator node and a state predictor in the controller node. By defining a novel deadline when determining which control input should be used, an augmented state equation is presented, and Hinfin controller design is also presented in terms of the feasible solutions of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The results are also extended to the observer-based Hinfin controller design. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed compensation method.
