Configuration Scheme of the Loss-of-Excitation Protection Based on Artificial Neural Network of the Protective Theory

Excitation system of the synchronous generator plays an important role in the normal and abnormal running of the power system,so loss-of-excitation protection should be applied to generator protection.This paper brings forward an Artificial Intelligence(AI) technology applied to the configuration scheme of the loss-of-excitation protection-the protection based on the Artificial Neural Network of the protective theory,based on the analysis of the conditional configuration schemes.A detailed example analysis fully illustrates the validity of the proposed configuration scheme.
