BackgroundJudoisveryphysiologicaldemandingsport,�buttherearenomanyphysicalfitnessspecifictests.�Oneofthemost� usedspecificjudotestsistheSpecialJudoFitnessTest�(SJFT)�proposedbySterkowicz�(1995).�Althoughthistest� hasbeenusedbymanycoachesindifferentcountriesnoclassificatorytablewasfoundtoclassifythejudoath- letesaccordingtotheirresults.�Thus,�theaimofthisworkwastopresentaclassificatorytableforthistest. �Material/Methods:� Forthispurpose�141�judoathletes�(mean�±standarddeviation:�21.3±4.5�years-old;�74.2±15.9�kgofbodymass� and�176.7±8.2�cmofheight;�judorankingbetween�3rdkyuand�3 rddan)�familiarizedwiththeSJFTperformedit� onceinordertoprovidedatatoestablishaclassificatorytable. � Results:� Aftertheanalysisofdatadistributionafivescaletable�(20%�foreachclassificatorycategory)�wasdevelopedcon- sideringthevariablesusedintheSJFT�(numberofthrows,�heartrateafterand�1�minafterthetestandindex). � Conclusions:� TheclassificatorytablecanhelpcoachesusingtheSJFTtoclassifytheirathletes'�levelandtomonitortheirphys- icalfitnessprogress.
