Compressed sensing for near range MIMO radar in multipath environment

Compressed sensing is investigated for positioning and extracting Doppler information of moving point-like targets in a multipath environment. The configuration for this purpose includes a 4×4 MIMO radar system, a limited number of targets and two PEC walls in distances of about a few wavelengths from each other. Ray optics up to the first order is used to compute the received signal at each sensor.
