System identification method, base station and UE

The embodiment of the invention discloses a system identification method which includes the following steps: the base station determines a system identification signal which carries signal characteristic information of the system identification signal, wherein the signal characteristic information is used for identifying that a system which the base station belongs to is a machine-to-machine (M2M) communication system, and the signal characteristic information includes one or more kinds of frequency characteristic information, phase characteristic information and amplitude characteristic information; and the base station sends the system identification signal to the UE. The embodiment of the invention also discloses the base station and the UE. The method, the base station and the UE are capable of effectively preventing that non-matching UE accesses a base station of an M2M communication system.
