Survey on Content-based Image Retrieval Techniques

The content-based image retrieval techniques(CBIR)is a hot topic recently. The system architecture and some key techniques of CBIR are discussed in this paper . Various methods for feature extraction and similarity measurement are introduced and compared . Some issues that need to be studied further are also pointed out.
