Abstract This paper cites particular concepts in the literature concerning decision support systems (DSS) and provides an example of a “real-world” DSS that illustrates the incorporation of these concepts. Concepts such as model judgmental flexibility, usage through an intermediary and decision-analytic optimization are discussed.
