Comparison between two multirate transmission schemes in a DS-CDMA system

In this paper, single code and multiple code transmission schemes for the mobiles in a DS-CDMA system which can provide multirate services are compared. It is shown that despite the dynamic range requirements being quite different, the interference properties of these two schemes and the bit error rates are identical.
