Effectiveness of liquid crystal admixtures in the lubricating oil for a multi-operational machine

The influence of lubricants and their additives on the running-in process of gearboxes of metal-cutting machine tools is investigated. Theoretical and experimental analysis proved the expediency of adding liquid crystals (fatty acid esters of cholesterol) into the oil.
