Design of retractable double-cut boring cutter and finite element analysis

A kind of retractable double-cut boring system is studied,which can be used to solve the problem of flask-shaped deep hole machining.There are two kinds of boring system to be comparative studied:single-cut and double-cut .In order to obtain natural frequency of first four mode and amplitude-frequency response curve,a kind of finite element software-Ansys is applied.After analysised by Ansys,the re-sults can be used to prove that the retractable double-cut boring system is correct and feasible.
