Abstract The paper presents the integration of the view points of supervision and performance evaluation by using an object oriented modelling in order to build an information repository for the design of production systems. The Unified Modelling Language (UML) formalism is enriched by existential and exclusive constraints in order to ensure the data integrity of the proposed models
