The invention discloses a power patrol robot capable of riding over an obstacle. The patrol robot comprises a rack, an arm mechanism and a control terminal, wherein the arm mechanism is arranged on the top surface of the rack, the control terminal is arranged on the rack, the arm mechanism comprises two side arm mechanisms and an intermediate arm mechanism, and the intermediate arm mechanism is arranged between the two side arm mechanisms. With a clamping design, a clamping mechanism arranged at a lower part is directly released when an obstacle with a protruding lower end such as a vibration prevention hammer is passed, an arm is not needed to loosen and lay down to pass through the obstacle, the power patrol robot is simple and high-efficiency in action; and an evading mode of rotating the arm is adopted when an obstacle with a protruding upper end such as an isolation bar and a hammer selection wire clip is passed, the arm is also not needed to loosen and lay down to pass through the obstacle, and the power patrol robot is high-efficiency in operation.
