The invention discloses a control system and method of intelligent appliances. The control system comprises an intelligent terminal and at least one intelligent appliance, wherein the intelligent terminal comprises a reading module, a querying and downloading module and a sending module; the reading module is used for reading equipment information corresponding the intelligent appliance, the querying and downloading module is used for querying and downloading operation parameters corresponding to the intelligent appliances according to the read equipment information, the sending module is used for sending the operation parameters to the intelligent appliance, and the intelligent appliance carries out corresponding operation according to the operation parameters. The invention also provides a control method of the intelligent appliance. By implementing the technical scheme of the invention, because each intelligent appliance is controlled by using the intelligent terminal, thus the resources can be effectively utilized. Meanwhile, for a user needing to control a plurality of intelligent appliances, the control system is simpler in operation.
