Digital Control DC-DC Converter with Novel DPWM Signal Generator for Renewable Energy System

The control precision of output voltage for the digital control DC-DC converter is influenced when its input voltage fluctuates. Such condition occurs in the renewable energy system. The purpose of this paper is to present the solution for this issue. At first, the influence of input voltage fluctuation to the control precision of output voltage is discussed. After that, the proposed method is explained and demonstrated in the simulation. The proposed method gets fine resolution of PWM signal by auxiliary circuit without depending on the clock signal frequency of the DPWM signal generator. The simulation results reveal the validity of the idea.
