Reactance network shaping a sinusoidal pulse with sinusoidal envelope of finite duration

The paper describes the procedure to synthesize a loaded by resistor reactance network that has an impulse or a step response described by a sinusoidal pulse with sinusoidal envelope of finite duration. The real and imaginary parts of the Laplace transform of the output response are expanded in infinite products. Then, using a finite number of terms in these products one can obtain a realizable transfer function.
