Abstract U.S. farmer's attitudes towards microcomputer uses were assessed using an analysis of survey results. A survey of 2000 farmers and ranchers was conducted to determine the structure of their opinions and attitudes towards microcomputing. The primary purpose of the survey was to present the results of the survey and to derive the implications for the development of Extension microcomputer education activities.
