Quantitative loss budget estimation in WDM single-fibre loopback access networks with ASE light sources

The loss budget in WDM single-fibre loopback access networks that use ASE light source is quantitatively estimated. Two paths of backreflection are considered and the loss budget of upstream transmission is experimentally clarified.
