Finite Element Numerical Analysis on Structural Stability of Celled Steel Sheet Pile

By combining with some project example,a 3D elastic-plasticity finite element model is created to analyze the structural stability of celled steel sheet pile by ABAQUS software.Analysis and comparison are made for the ultimate bearing capacity of celled steel sheet pile within different soil properties and at different strata depths.It is shown that the ultimate bearing capacity is greatly affected by different soil properties,and significantly improved by the replacement of ground base.However,the ultimate bearing capacity could not be affected much even though the celled steel sheet piles were driven deeper into silt substratum.
