Syntactic Analysis of Causative: From a Functional Perspective

This paper discusses the Causative clauses from a functional perspective. It suggests that firstly the discussion scope of "Causative" should be defined and then more attention be attached to Ergativity analysis. It also puts forward that the principle "Form is the realization of meaning" should always be followed in the functional syntactic analysis.
