Optimal design for a power dual branch transmission two-grade gear reducer

In order to research an easier and more reasonable design method of the power branch transmission gear reducer,the optimal design of the power dual branch transmission two-grade gear reducer was analyzed in this paper.The mathematic model was established for optimal calculation of the structural parameters,and the corresponding codes were also developed.Considering the standard complex algorithm,a complex-genetic algorithm was developed to deal with the localized optimization in the event of too many variables.Aiming at weight minimization,under the ascertained constraint condition,the design optimization of the power dual branch transmission two-grade gear reducer was carried out using the self-developed complex-genetic algorithm.The results show that the reference gear reducer design is far from the best scheme.In addition,the results also verify the feasibility of the complex-genetic algorithm.
