Introduction of an implantable MOMES used in visual prosthesis

Visual prosthesis is an approach to vision rehabilitation for some conventionally incurable eye diseases, such as retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Image acquisition is the basis of visual prosthesis. An implantable MOMES (Micro-camera) based on optical properties of the human eye was introduced and its imaging quality was evaluated in this paper.
