Design and Implementation of 3D Simulation Platform Based on OSG

This paper studies the development of an useful and convenient design platform of 3D simulation (3DVR)using OSG(Open Scene Graph) ,as it can make the design clients construct different kinds of simulation application systems efficiently and quickly. The platform is extended based on OSG to form a more convenient advanced function base of API, by using the technologies such as bottom module hiding and packaging, modules integration and so on .The second development can be carried out using the bottom functions,if necessary. This paper introduces each module’s characteristics, architecture, key technologies and examples. The development of this platform gives a method for supporting the development of other complicated simulation systems and standard middleware. It packs various generic complicated simulation algorithms, and makes the programming work simple and quick.
