Strategies of Increasing Non-Oil Exports of Iran-Qom State Case Study: Sohan

Productions and outputs known as souvenirs of a city can be good opportunities for growing businesses and economic in that area. Sohan as a cookie is one of the main souvenirs of Qom. If producers want to use the opportunity of exporting Sohan, they should apply proper strategies for their targets and have strategic plans. This study is to know the present position of exporting Sohan by means of internal and external analysis. Methodology: Interviews, books and documents are used in this survey; for studying information, SWOT analysis model is used and for strategy compiling, Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) is used. Findings: Data shows that exporting Sohan has more weaknesses and opportunities in external and internal factors and it is in a situation that can use opportunities to decrease weaknesses by help of the strategies. Conclusion: Based on evaluation of scores conservative strategies in quantitative strategic planning matrix, focusing strategy on products and market penetration in the region and the solvent was selected as the best strategy.
