Establishing of 1000V multi-decade inductive voltage divider standard at NIM

A multi-decade inductive voltage divider (IVD) with special electric shielding is established at NIM as the highest standard in the field of ratio traceability system. A compensation method which is based on the principle of transformer is applied in this IVD to raise the accuracy. An improved bootstrap calibration method with triaxial guards is proposed, and a new type of reference transformer is designed to calibrate the multi-decade IVD in combination usage. The accuracy of this IVD is better than 0.05 μ V/V with the calibration uncertainty less than 0.01 μ V/V.
