Use of a Dynamic Personality Filter in Discrete Event Simulation of Human Behavior Under Stress and Fatigue

Cognitive complexity is an important factor in decision making in problem solving. As a personality trait, openness is related with cognitive complexity. Hence, dynamic updates of openness corresponding to the changes in its facets can be used to update the values of cognitive complexity which in turn can affect the decision making abilities and performances of humans represented in simulation studies. The possibility to develop dynamic personality filters to affect human performances in human behavior simulation studies are pointed out.
