사용자 관심영역 기반의 외부영상 이해를 통한 인지증강 시스템

Being “a window to the mind”, the eye and its movements are tightly coupled with human cognitive processes such as selective attention and incremental object perception model. In this paper, we present a new framework for human augmented cognition based on analyzing the fixation length and counts of eyeball movements with pupil size variation as an indicator to understand the human’s mind. We are implementing the “glass-type of eye tracking device” systems as a hardware platform to provide human augmented cognition service. Experimental results with real data have demonstrated the validity of the proposed approach.
