SEVERAL THOUGHTS ABOUT THE FOUNDATION DESIGN FOR HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS

This paper use three parts covering three questions respectively in the process of foundation design for high-rise buildings.The first part states some relevant factors which affect the selecting of foundation,and base on this,it makes a brief summary about the principle of foundation selection for high-rise buildings.The second part makes a brief comment about the conventional design method and the interactive analysis method,as well as points out the advantage and disadvantage for those two methods.The third par puts forward some suggestions for the foundation design of high-rise buildings on the basis of current research result of interactive analysis method,hoping to bring some reference for structure designers.
