Light Porous Structure in the Machine Table Applied Research

Light porous structure was used into the machine worktable structure of high speed vertical machining centre here,and designed a new type of machine table—porous structure worktable,and its total mass reduced 16.337kg compared with the original worktable,decreased the inertia force generated during the high speed processing accordingly,and carried on the static analysis and modal analysis to the two kind of worktable structure,separately. The analysis results show that: the maximum static deformation of the porous structure worktable decreased 20.9% than the original worktable,also the first six natural frequencies of it increased 87.33Hz equally,the maximum reached 191.56Hz. It indicates that the method of putting porous structure into the machine worktable is effective,which will provide a new train of thought for the traditional stiffener worktable design.
