New Stereoscopic Display System Based on Fresnel Lens

FOV(field of View)is made by the image principle of Fresnel lens.And another lens is used to expand the FOV in the direction of X,Y,Z.The illuminating lights is formed by different light source areas.And the exit pupils can receive these corresponding lights through the screen.According to that when the stereoscopic image pair shows in the LCD,the viewer can get the stereoscopic information freely.Then sterecoscopic display is carried out.Our experiment is achieved by use of LCD,Samsung 170EU;and Fresnel lens with 700 mm focus length.The result shows that when the distance between the light source and the Fresnel lens is 1 925 ram,we can get a FOV depth in the direction of X(±20°),Y(20 mm),Z(930～1260 mm).
