Adapting the PBEC-OTSS software selection approach for BPM suites: an application case

This work reports the application and adaptation of a software tool by choosing the approach - PBEC-OTSS (Process-Based Evaluation and Comparison of Off The Shelf Software), whose main concern is about organizational needs, to support the BPM suites choosing process. The adaptation and application of PBEC-OTSS approach are performed in a university environment to validate the usage of BPM in the definition and organization of a process in a real entity. The methodological process employed by the PBEC-OTSS was enriched with the analysis hierarchical process (AHP) approach [1] and the Forrester study [2].
