Study of fatigue crack initiation in the vicinity of notches

Abstract Using the crack initiation measurements for notched specimens with various geometry (CT and axisymetric notched specimens) and different notch radii, we will try to determine the number of cycles to initiate a fatigue crack in the vicinity of stress concentration.
