A semi-active fuzzy vibration control strategy on narrowband random excitation

Among the main high-tech facilities systems, precision-fabrication suffer from micro- strain vibration. Most of all, realistic vibration sources are variable in time and abundant in narrowband at random. This paper presents the design of a fuzzy controller for narrowband random vibration isolation system with semi-active isolator (magnetorheological elastomer). The performance of semi-active isolato r - s evaluated by sweep frequency test at zero field . A fuzzy controller is designed i n view of narro wbend random whibh is unpredicted. Then the experten is set up and the roo- mean square of response acceleration time doman and Power spectral density of that in frequency domain are analyzed in comparison with passive controller to verify the effectiveness of the designed controller. The experimental results demonstrate the designed fuzzy controller is superior and reliable for narrowband random vibration in application.
