New channel hopping sequence for cognitive radio systems using p-ary m-sequence

In this paper, we propose the channel hopping sequence for cognitive radio system. The proposed sequence is generated using p-ary m-sequence. We also propose the maximum time to rendezvous (TTR) and expected TTR under the symmetric model and prove our suggestion in mathematical way. The suggested sequence shows better performance than that of Jump-Stay algorithm in the view of TTR and expected TTR under the symmetric model.
