Three-Dimensional Numerical Value Research of 300MW Exhaust Facility for Direct Air Cooling Unit

By combining SIMPLE algorithm and model,the three-dimensional numerical simulation has been made for the flow field in 300MW exhaust facility,which has a low pressure heater in it,for direct air cooling unit and the velocity distribution of the flow field in entire exhaust facility has been obtained.Results indicate that the influence of inserted heater and the diffusion of exhaust facility's frustum remarkably cause prodigious non-uniformity of the flow field's velocity distribution at exhaust facility throat's outlet,which increases the steam friction loss and pressure loss of vapor flow in exhaust facility and finally seriously impairs the economical efficiency of unit operation.The numerical simulation results may serve as guidance for improving the design or reconstruction of exhaust facility for direct air cooling turbine.
