Classification of Natural Languages by Word Ordering Rule

In Tsunoda’s table for 130 languages, the word ordering rule of each language is represented by 19 values for 19 qualitative variables. Making the hierarchical clustering from the table, the 130 languages are divided into two groups, (a) prepositional languages, and (b) postpositionallanguages and adpositionless languages. Assuming the adposition is the most important variable, the numeral and noun, is the second most important variable for the hierarchical clustering. It seems that each language in the world fluctuates between two structures, prepositional languages and postpositionallanguages.
