The paper offers a differential equation of container vibration in lifting process and rope tension through analysis of the wire rope,and analyzes and simulates the vibration by means of Simulink-based simulation model.Furthermore,it introduces S-shape curve and its calculation method,simulates the lifting process with the speed given by S-shape curve,and compares the two simulation results quantitatively.The simulation results and analysis ones show that the speed given by S-shape curve can decrease significantly the impact in lifting process and decrease the load exerted on the rope,prolong the rope life and improve lift stability.It has a reference values for selecting rope and control to the hoist.
