Frontiers of population ecology

This volume examines developments in population ecology: the study of the interactions that determine the distribution and abundance of groups of organisms of the same species. It looks at the future of aspects of population ecology, including population regulation in theory and practice, two species interactions, spatial proceses, population evolution and molecular ecology, and applied aspects of managing populations. Chapters deal with plants, pathogens, insects, molluscs, birds and marine and terrestrial mammals.
