The dicom file conversion method of microwave tomography data

PURPOSE: A method for converting microwave tomography data into a DICOM(Digital Image and Communication in Medicine) file is provided to display obtained dielectric permittivity and conductivity information by 2D or 3D color images to supply information about the section of an image, and the location and the size of a specific area by precisely analyzing an tomography image, thereby easily determining whether users have cancer cells. CONSTITUTION: A microwave tomography data obtaining device diagnoses breast cancer. The microwave tomography data obtaining device includes an electromagnetic wave exposing device, an electromagnetic wave transceiving device, and a reverse scattering analyzing algorithm. A multi channel electromagnetic wave transceiving device generates an RF signal. The generated RF signal is transmitted by one of antennas of the electromagnetic wave exposing device. The other antennas except the antenna used for transmission receive an RF signal. The dielectric permittivity and conductivity of an object to be tested are calculated based on the data of the received data by a reverse scattering analyzing algorithm.
