A hybrid short and long term analysis of sleep spindles

In this study, a new approach is presented for analysis of EEG signals and detection of sleep spindles. Two different analysis which are short term (0.5sn) and long term (2sn), is applied to sleep EEG records. To detection of sleep spindles three techniques are used, these techniques are; Short Time Fourier Transform, Wavelet Transform and Teager Energy Operator.
