Monochrome iages: an approach to choosing fuzzy distributions

Abstract This study was motivated by a desire to better understand monochrome images using a fuzzy set approach. Computed data and curves are presented for four fuzzy distributions. These new results show how the choice of a fuzzy distribution affects the computed available information content in monochrome images.
