Method and apparatus for an operation conference in internet base

PURPOSE: A method and a system for a conference on a surgical operation based on the Internet are provided to obtain the high definition images of the procedure and a part of a surgical operation without an interruption on the performance of an operating surgeon, and to refer to an expert for an emergency. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a video processing module(103), an audio processing module(104), a video storing module(105), and a remote controlling module(106). The video processing module consists of a conference server(200) including an image acquisition unit(211), a video compressor(212), and a compressed video transmitter(213) and a local client(300) including a compressed video receiver(311), a compressed video decoder(312), and a video display(313). The audio processing module consists of a speaker, a microphone, a first audio transmitting and receiving unit(221), and a second audio transmitting and receiving unit(321). The remote controlling module consists of a remote controller(341), a control signal receiver(241), and a camera controller(102).
