Improvement of university teaching in micro- and nanoelectronics for the needs of the labour market

In this paper an international project for improvement of teaching in micro-nanoelectronics for the needs of labour market is presented. The project is in the framework of the programme SCOPES 2010-2013 (Scientific co-operation between Eastern Europe and the Switzerland) of the Swiss National Science Foundation. The tri-national collaboration involves two SCOPES partner countries - Bulgaria and Macedonia - and Switzerland in an active joint work. The subsequent application of the project outcomes in the three partner universities will result in a inter-university european network for modern engineer's education and training in micro-nanoelectronics, with the coordination and active support of the Haute Ecole d'Ingénierie et de Gestion du Canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD), University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland.
